Street Children

Sitting alone with many thoughts prevailing around...
Seeing here and there,listining sound..
.
They ran one after the other in hot sun!
''THEY'' are innocent,poor Street Children..
.
Lying on footpaths as if their beds...
Thinking about their parents,probably dead!
.
Seeing other children sitting in their car..
Making fun of them, sending them far..
.
Standing outside the toy shop, different kids they see...
Just wishing If they were thee..
.
Not even wearing a pair of shoe..
Wish I could do something for You!

This is a sad reality for so many. Well expressed dedication to those children.

Hi Saba! Important topic you chose to write about. The problem of poverty and homeless children is such a big one, but I don't know how much is being done about it. Very sad!! Many are those who try helping financially...but where does the money really go?!! // paul
