Stray Dogs

So many stray dogs living out on the street.
So many poor canines being put permanently to sleep.
We are the ones who created all of them.
All dogs throughout this planet are in a sense our children.
They would not be here today if not for us.
Our children protect us and love us with a devotion that will forever last,
and yet we treat so many of our children like yesterday's trash.
If you are considering
adopting one of our children
into your caring and loving home,
Rescue A Pet from your local animal shelter.
Throw a poor desperate dog a bone.
Rescue one of them
from euthanising .
It's an act you will never regret,
and in return you will receive
a companion like you'd never believe
who will always love you and be forever in your debt.

So true, Billy, the dogs will think of us as their life-line. We had rescued our dog, from being euthanized...she hugged my neck and followed me around for days. We were her third owners, and I think she thought she wasn't going to stay. We LOVE HER!:) What's really sad are the unwanted animals given as Christmas gifts. The animal shelters had too many, and were looking for foster homes for them. Best to you and yours, Mikki

Maybe instead of buying a video game it would be better for the kids and the dogs if parents would gift their kids one of those dogs..everything alive has a right to live..a purpose. I love it! Love, Audrey
