Stray Bullet

Stray Bullet!
Stray bullet
Drove me to death
Through the gates of heath
Softly stole my breath

Piercing my tender heart
In a single jot
That was my best part
It is thy sting art

That I did fall
For once and all;
Still I hear cradle’s call
Carved on my heart’s tender wall

Hurt and pain
Will come again;
Silent tears will rain
Till we are awaken again
