Like one of the other comments the last sentence caught my attention "begile with the sweetest ties" could be taken two different ways. Able to deceive because of the friendship or charmed by the ties of friendship. Excellent piece makes one think.

Very good poem. I especially like the last line. For I love poems with a double meaning. Beguile meaning either to charm or to deceive. Excellent word play. Bravo!

This is a sweet tie of friendship here Don! I love the grandiosity of this write, full of wonderment and delight!(I didn't mean to rhyme but it seems to work well)! I really enjoyed reading this awesome poem this evening! This shows a kindhearted mind within you Don, you are a sensitive man...I've known this for a long time now however! What a fabulous piece, Great Work!!
