Strangers

I don't know you and you don't know me
Therefore to me you are a mystery
Like a riddle I have to solve
In this all of my critical thinking I must involve
I'm looking at you and your looking back at me
In my head I'm thinking, "What does he see?"
I'm standing here hoping my eyes don't decive me again
I'm quietly asking God, "Is this person suposed to be a friend?"
I turn to walk away without sayin a single word
Afraid that any of my thoughts could have been mistakenly heard
I'm wondering now if I'll ever see you again and maybe even talk to you
But as of right now i have no idea what I'll do
I know not getting acquainted with you will be something I regret.
Because now we can continue with our lives knowing we never really met
