Stranger
A stranger came into my life one day,
then eight years later up and went away.
He filled a void no-one else could fill,
for that it gave me such a thrill.
Family and friends disliked him so ,
for they knew he would surely go.
And they hated I had to share a lover
they said just didn't care.
In my heart I knew this was true,
but in my mind it made me blue.
So just as all sad stories end,
someone elses life begins.
A stranger will appear in their life,
become a lover in one night.
Then just as quickly as it begins,
it will surely end.
So someone else's life can begin!
