Stranger

This strange feeling doesn’t seem to leave But it only becomes more extreme. Everything around me seems positive Ready to take on the world before me. Nothing can diminish my enthusiasm And I hope how I feel is not a spasm. If only I knew what to make of it I would know what to do with it. I pray that this is not temporary For I want to be in this state for eternity. Now I see things I could never before And want things I thought I never needed. I hope this feeling that was a strange for me Does not become a stranger to me. No more do I want to put it off for long But want to indulge in this till it lasts. I wish to have this stranger inside me And pray it lasts till the last breath in me.
