Strange Love

When I look into your eyes I no longer want the usual guys
You make me feel warm like I do right before a storm
I feel like pure gold as you hold me
When you kiss me I feel complete bliss
You give me such a soft touch, nothing too much
I could lay with you for days as we go into a haze
When will this secret love affair become aware to others
You don’t seem to express the same dream as I have
I know pain and you are driving my brain insane
When will you realize that I truly do care about you
You must think these actions are all lies
I will not accept this rejection, all I wanted was affection
When you go on with your day I hope you know what sorrow you have given me
You will be forgiven but I’ll make sure you feel what I have
I feel you have torn out my heart now that we are apart

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

This was so tender, so truly heart-felt, but when I got to this phrase "secret love affair" I began to get some loud disturbing Uh-oh feelings. I am sad that you know pain, but anyone who is not proud of your love does not deserve it. I truly hope this is in the past, because it ends so sad.
