STRANGE FLOWER

STRANGE FLOWER

And so I lay
This dream bouquet
Mourning
One strange flower
Delicate
Her floral death
A prayer
She left unanswered
Without blame
She fell away
A face
A trace of powder
And so I lay
This dream bouquet
Mourning
One strange Flower

             *

Whose whispers call
The darkness down
When flowers fall
Are ribbons bound
Their sins absolved
On angel's frowns
Where flowers fall
Are sorrows found
