Strange Attraction

We once said that we loved each other
But those words are now forbidden between us
You fell in love with someone else
Someone close to me
You and her fell deep in love
I sat back and watched
Came home and cried
Then,
One day
You flashed me a look
A familiar one
One of friendship and love
My heart flew above the sky,
And I felt my soul take flight with it
And then you turned the other way
I was confused
But I still remember that time
And all of our other times
I still feel
Feel this strange attraction
