Strains of Interpretation
The bond between our eyes and heart
sometimes is not so strong;
the heart may fool our vision's part-
conducting its own song.
The bond between our mind and soul,
half-hearted, blend each view;
the soul can shade the mind's eyehole-
its process, misconstrue.
Oft eyes and minds are very blind-
when hearts and souls are intertwined.
