straightened out by grandma

Halloween cat wished he had been born in the summer
Being born in October was a bit of a bummer
He liked May the best, but June was lovely too
Why October? He asked people. What did I do?

You are destined for great things, his grandmother said.
The only better time would be November, day of the dead.
But you can claim Halloween, it is the party time of the year.
Best of all, you get to hiss and growl, you can be a kitty to fear.
