Straight From the Heart

1/6/17

I'd like to raise a toast

Life ain't a joke
Been trying to stay afloat
And make the most
While I see another night and day approach
Near and far from any trains and boats
Not one to rely on faith or hope
Opportunities you either take or don't
Time you never want to waste or loaf

Straight from the heart
Is how I paint my art

But now I raise the bar
As I star gaze from afar
