Straggling Forward
Dreaming of dark clouds
on the horizon, storming,
Screaming of dark words
on my lips, silence,
Seeming is the reality
of careening, stop,
Leaning on a fense post
reciting poetry, releasing,
Deemimg qualities
within the soul, seeking,
Careening out of control
on a sideshow, peeking,
Dreaming of dark clouds
above the horizon, coming,
Seeing the menace coming
looming just above, striking,
Preening upon my footstool
ready to cringe, shaking,
Screaming out words of light
throwing fits, protecting,
Seeming is reality plus
careening forward, future.
