Story of My Life

These scars tell a story, They hold the secrets I’ve held dear, The story of my life began with a single line, A single light pink line drawn in scarlet, It tells of the pain and agony, The misery I felt, The story of how I became so cold, So distant, And never smiled again, The story of my life, How I never laughed at any jokes, How I never smiled at you, It tells of all the bad times, This faint pink line tells. So many secrets, All in one line, It marks the pain I feel inside, Just one faint pink line, Faded over time, But it will never disappear, Because it tells the story of my life, it's marks something I hold dear.
