Stormy Days

Stormy Days

Stormy skies have come again
Tears fall down like rain
Summer skies can't hide my cries
Or wash away this pain
Drops of sorrow drops of joy
Emotions start to pour
Behind the clouds the sun still shines
Much brighter than before
Waiting for the sunbeams
Keeps getting harder every time
But I know it's worth the wait
I see why love is blind
Never knowing what’s in store
We take forever day by day
Always keeping our hearts open
Rain can't wash true love away
