Storms Clouds
STORMS DON’T ALWAYS LAST
Shipwrecked, my ship destined for destruction
As I sailed across the ocean, storm waves beat against me
Destined for destruction, destined for disaster
Moments of despair, silenced with fear, I tremble
My heart raced with beat of uncertainty
Never would I imagine that this day would come
Waters surrounds , and engulfed me
My ship continued on a course I have never experienced before
This time for sure I thought I would die
While I sat there praying that the storm would soon be over
Tears streams down my eyes as I battled to reach the seashore
I was lost and afraid ,sure to sink, lost my anchor
Then in wink of a moment everything felt quiet
I rush hastily to the deck just to make sure ,it was then i realized
Suddenly the rain stopped, the thunder stop rolling
The wind was calmed, the sea was silent
As I gazed across I could see land for sure
It was then I recognized that even though I go through the storms of life
Storms clouds always pass.
