Storm In My Eyes

Breathe,
as the tears fall and hit the floor...
the reflection in the mirror
Looks so different than before

Staring back at me
A girl I do not know,
Now only haunted by what I could have done.
as the self loathing begins to grow

Turning the corners of my mind,
navigating through the pain,
Theres no running from the storms,
Overtaking my eyes now like rain

My shelter and comfort has been stolen,
No Peace nor happiness will I find,
Lost within myself I search with fear,
That I will always be lost forever in my mind
