Storm

It's a stormy life filled with gray clouds with winds so strong they knock you off your feet You try to hold on but the force just brings you down time and time again It's a whirl wind of emotional devastation The tree that once stood before me has been up rooted No longer does it stand with loving arms The tears come down like pouring rain with so much heartfelt pain There they stay frozen as do the icicles hanging off the rooftop I feel the ice cold much to often Oh how I long to feel the warmth See your smile shine like the sun The addiction is much like a storm We try to rebuild but yet to get hit with another
