Stories and Rocks

I collect rocks, a favorite thing to do
One beach in Maine is completely full
I could sit for hours, sorting them through
These smooth rocks, the tide does pull
Some with designs, I cover with clear finish
I collect them, other places I go
Then they shine upon my every wish
Now so many, where memories flow
Some are painted, with scenes as well
A simple thing can mean this much
They all come with a special story to tell

Sandra Adams Date: 10/2/2019 12:15:00 PM an old teacher of mine collects rocks, he even has students bring them back from different countries, or states...he said it started as fun in his classroom and now continues...i collect ones from a local beach they refer to as cape may diamonds... they are hard to find though!
