Stop the Madness
Young brothers and sisters
out here living the streets
wondering what tomorrow will bring.
Who will die from another gun shot,
wondering will the killings ever stop!
Don't want to go to jail, or to hell
mothers and fathers
constantly paying bail!
For what???
Stop the madness,
It's really sadness
Our future going up in smoke
Kids out here selling dope
Instead of educating
we're perpetuating
A life without hope
Stop the madness
It's really sadness
This world is going insane,
when we can stop Bin Laden
but not others gangs
It's time for a change
Stop the madness
It's really sadness
Our eyes swelling, our minds dwelling
won't hide the blindness
fallen trials and tribulations
constantly behind us
Stop the madness,
it's really sadness
Jesus Christ sacrificed
and then rose from the night
just so that we all could live a better life.
Stop the madness!!!
