Stop Praising Satan
now I am a little tired
and I am a little jealous
and devil, Lucifer Satan
what ever yo name is
I'm so tired of giving you praise
when most of the time
it's my choice process, yes
sometime it's me and it's never you
now I just remembered
a comedian named Flip Wilson
he used to play a part, a women called Jeriadean
and her motto was this-------
"The devil made me do it"
"The devil made me do it'
sometimes it's me and it's never you
well I got news for ya
not all the time its old Lucifer;
sometimes it's Bill, Jill, William or Phil;
you know we all got wills;
and I must confess
it's not always him it's us
sometimes it's me and it's never you
So resist the devil ole Lucifer, Satan
tell him to flee
before he really gets to you
it's not always him
sometimes it's you and me
so let's stop praising him
by calling all our situations, burdens by him
sometimes I am my own worst enemy
stop praise Satan, giving him a small victory;
so when your wrong just be wrong, repent;
and when he's in your mind and you do at this time accept;
resist him and he will flee
what does God say "rebuke him"
So resist the devil ole Lucifer, Satan
the father of lies, no longer welcome here;
and I won't give up just to left him in
so I go the throne to the altar to repent my (not his) sins;
because it's not always him;
sometimes its me and it's never you;
so I'm just gonna stop blaming you
because in doing so I and inadvertently praising you
