Stop Fighting

Relax and let the mind go.
Stop fighting for freedom;
As pointless as striving for structure.
Resist, and opposition strengthens
Contend to break free in mind-

And, unconsciousness merely tightens and binds.
Feeling confined and fettered, locked
In a box, caught in the trap-
Of railing against being imprisoned.

When the time for change presents itself
Change will occur, yet not before
Just let it be and still the roar...
Between my ears vexing me so.

To reclaim the open flow-
One thing is essential to know:
Relax and let the mind go
