Stop and Hear the Roses

I suppose,
one should not just see but smell a rose.
So, I bent down to smell
as the bud began to swell
and blossom. It was awesome.
An invisible man in bright red socks
played a lovely music box.

See, flippant/otw (off the wall) and a good time. Your last two lines make no sense (or is it just me?) yet are thoroughly enjoyable. This begins with 'see' because these comments follow ones I left on "Hand and Feet." Did you write for Andrea/body part and/or Messina/one couple of days? I came over to your place looking for both. Love this

Yup, I wrote one for Andrea, complaining about my bad back, I think it's called Ode to a Bad Back, and I wrote on for Charles, I think you commented on that one. Strangely enough, though when I read the last two lines now, they seem nonsensical, but when I wrote them, they actually, for one in my life, had a meaning (sort of). I think I was trying to see that the sound of a rose is a music box, or something like that. :-))
