Stone Heart
I pray for the eyes to see
for the wisdom to know
for a chance to touch it
Being able to understand
the passions within
the lives it claim
the fires it has set ablaze
Love the lives you have touched
never seen by anyone
yet many know your embrace
Yet you have yet to touch my soul
leaving me to wander this world alone
only to be ice cold
within a heart of stone
