Stomach For War

Stomach For War Does American have the stomach to win this war? When so many wonder what we are fighting for. Can they not see the future, if we were to lose? For surely if they could, it would be nothing they would choose. Can you imagine being afraid to walk out of your home? Unto the open streets were terrorists now roam. Can you imagine children being targeted in the hall of our schools? An insurgence’s hideout as they change all the rules. Blood shed is common, no one is immune, Safety and security is no longer the tune. Is this really the world we want our kids to see? An American that is no longer strong and free. Or should we continue to try with all our might, To ensure we militarily win this fight. I for one will stand up tall, Even as our backs are against the wall. And fight the fight without giving in, And never rest until we win. I will not hand this down to my son, For him to fight a battle that can’t be won.
