Stolen Flame

Once seen as a boy
With a will to succeed
Who never passed up a chance
When someone was in need
But the flame was stolen
Along with my desire
Blamed myself for the pain
And the devil for the fire
Mistake after mistake
A little piece would break
Not realizing my pride
And future was at stake
A voice calling gently
"Don't let this drama last"
I must move forward
And forget about the past
The black almost chocolate sky
Ran with a sense of fear
Now I can see the truth
With a sky so bright and clear
