Stoic stance

Positioned near the peak and then pulled back,
matters not to us since ego is dead,
for though we were denied we feel no lack,
so we shrug off those moments when we bled,
continuing to with mindfulness tread.
We will wait for as long as it may take,
for our capsuled consciousness to awake,
be it in this lifetime or the next one,
so here we are, a rippleless calm lake,
our bliss drenched presence lustrous like the sun.
