Stir the pot and add some spice
Enhance the taste already nice
Dip in a ladle or a scoop
Take a taste of Poetry Soup
You will find that poets there
Bare their souls their thoughts to share
Open your mind broaden your sight
Think about the words they write
Some think so deep in thought are lost
Some make you laugh at their own cost
All have some special words to say
You'll be so glad you came to play
So if you write and press submit
And don't get comments please don't quit
Your words will find a common group
And add to the pot of Poetry Soup
