Still To Fluid Life
Drapes surround the sturdy length of vase
With width reflecting devious inside,
Distorted do arrangements, super stars
Become the surging curvatures each side.
Tint from shadows smooth botanic length,
Like Chinese lanterns mimicking the light,
Cerise like tissue papers, give a strength
Of subtleties that still-life has, it's slight.
Tinplate has become reflective thought
It scales a hollow tone to handles long,
Transparent mass of fluid has been caught
But holds it on the outside. See,your wrong!
The fabric pours.., the jug now disappears
With ease from which the vertices's succeed,
To hold the frame then, Wow! it reappears
As if by magic, sown as fabric seed.
Where the greenery dispatches life as such,
One leaf to lean against the fall it plans
At forty five degrees, it isn't much,
But holds the painting up with open hands.
