Still the Birds Sing

Moving forward and through
Steady grief rocked by shock
Warped is the view
Each moment now clocked

Yet there is beauty
Still the birds sing
Waves keep on crashing
Do Not Pity Me

Strange though it sounds
My perception is blessed
My soul has connections
I send in requests

I know we're all heard
I know we're all worthy
I know we're all guided
It's a classroom; a journey

I'll align with the beauty
And hear the birds sing
Ride the waves as they're crashing
Do Not Pity Me

This is beautiful. I really enjoyed it. :) Just change your "their" in the last stanza to "they're".
