Still Standing
You destroyed me,
Built me not to dream,
Took over my life,
Took away my identity.
Forced me to accept mistreatment and
So many lies
Caused me to withdraw and lose my mind.
Placed a shell around my heart that's bee
Broke to many times.
Never thought I would
Shake you off
Tune you out, pull away,
'Cause even though you
Brung the worst outta me and
Even though you thought you buried
My spirit 6 feet
I still made it out
Barely
But through many lies and tears,
Hell and fears
I still survived.
Even though you thought you
Killed my dreams and
You unleashed the very hell in me
Daddy,
I'm still
