Still Missing You
When I think of you my stomach still gets butterflies.
When I picture your face and smile, I still get lost in your eyes.
I travel back in time in my mind to relive being with you.
I wish I would have told you how I felt and followed through.
I remember sitting across the table with our heads buried in a book.
Then every few minutes I glanced up, hoping to see if you would look.
Sitting there with you was the closest to heaven I could be.
So beautiful on the inside and outside and everything I see.
The times when nothing would go right and having just a terrible day,
then you would walk in the room and all that would just disappear away.
No one has been able to make me feel like that since.
Maybe in another life I will come and be your prince.
