Still I Rise

STILL I RISE

Still I rise, shaming the daunting eyes.
Still I rise, despite the convincing lies.
Still I rise, though with me, they cut ties
Still I rise, inasmuch as I let out sighs,
Still I rise, if you like ignore my cries,
Shoot me with your words; still I rise,
Smooth with the arrow of your eyes, still I rise,
Ostracize me from societal minds,
I'll drop low, but ends up with the prize.

Even though you cast me like a dice,
Scattered on the street of experience,
Still I rise, and rise, and rise.
Just like the watered garri, Still I rise,
E go swell, just like dem tell, still I go rise;
Like the waters in evaporation, I rise

Tho you jettison my words of affirmation,
Though witnessed my little evaporation,
Mock and ignore my cloud formation,
Flabbergasted by my precipitation,

Observe keenly or monitor my location
And then again, witnessed my evaporation,
Still, I rise, until I complete my life's mission.
