The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Still Holding On

I woke from a dream flushed and cold
Overcome by desire, passion and lust
I reached for you in desperation
Falling short of my destination

You are always just beyond my reach
A story that has no end
Pages filled with hopes and dreams
Lonely nights and silent screams

If only I had a single chance
To show you what I see
A picture perfect fairytale
A vision of you and me

But fairy tales are just that
Dreams that don't come true
So within this realm I will remain
Cause the one I love is you
