The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Still, But Strong

M’lady, is that torch you hold, for me?
Or, is it for all wandering souls
That venture here from across the sea
And to your bosom you then hold?
Your face, it welcomes all who choose
To gain their fate in freedom’s land
Where here, they hope, they will not lose
On America’s shore; its welcoming sand.
You stand majestic, though harbor bound
Such glory given, smiles ne’er fade
You give a future on freedom’s ground
Where dreams are lived as plans are made.
So, humble lady of the sea,
A gift from France so long ago,
You are a symbol of liberty
Unto men, hope, you do bestow.
