or better yet, it makes me think of a "square deal" and the round table of Camelot. Those are both marvelous metaphors for that dream we all long for, Kashinath.

powerful. the implied hunger - so awful! I picture starving children, parents looking longingly at an empty table, food they can't provide... :(
