Stewardship Where Your Treasure Is
Stewardship — Where Your Treasure Is
Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
These words echo across time, reminding us that what we value most reveals where our hearts truly live.
In the beginning, when creation was fresh and the earth still carried the fragrance of God’s spoken word, the Creator looked upon His work and called it good.
Then something remarkable happened. The Almighty God entrusted His perfect creation to the care of mortal hands.
Imagine that moment— the God of heaven and earth placing the garden into the stewardship of humanity.
Mountains and rivers. Fields and forests. Creatures that roam and birds that soar. All placed in the hands of man. Not to rule as tyrants, not to destroy or abuse, but to care, to protect, to faithfully manage what belongs to Him.
For stewardship is a sacred trust. Everything we have comes from Him.
Our time. Our talents. Our strength. Our opportunities. Each gift placed gently into our hands.
And the faithful steward asks, not “What is mine?” but “How can I honor the One who gave it?”
When we steward well, our work becomes worship. Our service becomes praise.
Through our gifts, God’s glory is revealed.
Stewardship is not a burden— it is a privilege.
A divine invitation to partner with the Creator in His work.
But God reminds us not to store our treasure here on earth, where dust gathers, and thieves break through and steal.
Instead, store your treasure in heaven— where faith, love, and generosity never fade.
When we return faithfully to God what He has entrusted to us, we are simply saying: “Thank You.”
Thank You for Your faithfulness.
Thank You for Your provision.
Thank You for trusting us with so much.
And as we trust Him fully, we begin to see His promise unfold.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart… and He will make your paths straight.”
The faithful steward will always discover that God’s goodness overflows.
His mercy never fails. His provision never runs dry.
So let our treasure be in heaven.
Let our hearts belong to God.
And let our stewardship bring honor to His name.
