Steps of Kindness
When we're young we are told
Never put your dreams on hold
Rise above and you can be
Anything, set your heart free
But I've learned there's an action
That can give you satisfaction
It's free and doesn't cost a lot
Look inside your loving heart
Finding kindness you can spread
Don't hate causing others dread
Bullying abuse racism
Violence and discrimination
Are not welcome anywhere
Instead use kindness love and care
Helpfulness to those in need
A generous act indeed
Remember when finding your place
On this earth leave a trace
Of cheerfulness all around
In every step on this earth's ground
