Stepping Through Time

Joan of Arc, leader of war
I meet you, my spirit soar
A smile that gives every man a crush
Gaze into your starlit eyes and blush
You make my heart a tassel
I'm willing to climb your castle
     Under the moonlight we tango
Heat of passion melts French snow
Arrow gave your neck a scar
You still fought, enemies running far
     Many battles, stopped England's hoard
I'm also a warrior, pen is my sword
     Astounding courage, age 19
     Battlefields are now serene
Our love will never be a story
     History sound in wind's memory

ahhh how sweet what you said here. I never see replies to my comments unless I revisit someone's poem. I am looking for a new poem of yours I have not seen yet. Let me keep trying.

Bruce, it's been a while since I have read your poetry so I stopped by here last to see your latest. You did such a good job with this theme. It tells me something about you , that you would step through time with a brave woman like Joan of Arc. This was very well done. Neither of us placed but I though we both did a pretty great job with our poems!

Thank you, I've always thought Joan of Arc was an extraordinary character. Kind of like you Andrea !
