Step by step…………………….. I am moving closer to what I am supposed to Suppose to do what I don’t know I don’t know what I am supposed to do Step by step……………….... I am moving forward towards to a new goal To a place I am supposed to go, A goal I struggle, but no one knows Step by step………………… My trouble circles like merry go Intertwines with my flaws so I move slow So slow my brain begins to over flow Step by step………………. I am over cumbered with thoughts inside my mind They race to fast I am starting to trail behind This life is leaving me, now’s not the time to be blind Step by step……………. I only see the negative path that I have lead The truth of lies that I miss read The rough water that my mind makes me tread Step by step ………… I failed everybody I knew in my life The tears that falls is the blades that cut me like a knife My heart that bleeds deep, I don’t want to lose my wife Step by step ……… I carry the unconditional love as a father I hope she never ever bothers to wonder But this burden is so deep.
