Step By Step

A whole day gone by
I dread the thought
She was amazing
She was all I sought

I doubt she will come back
She will never return
I did something stupid
Now I have to learn

I have to be strong
If I look weak
Then it will kill my reputation
A new girl I'll have to seek

She always told me 
That I was perfect
But now she is gone
Was it worth it?

Words left unspoken
She will never know how I feel
She is gone forever
This pain is unreal

But I have to move on
I have to mask the pain
Because if I don't
It will drive me insane
