Notes About The Poem

"Stellar Resilience" was inspired by a dark New England star-filled night. Looking up at that night sky, I found those stars gave me a sense of peace from their unwavering light, especially compared to the vast darkness. This poem uses that celestial image as a metaphor for the resilience within each of us.

Stellar Resilience

In the vast expanse of life's dark space,
Be patient, tough, like stars that grace
The endless night with steady light—
Guiding you through the hardest fight.

This pain, a comet's fiery trail,
Will blaze a path where dreams prevail.
For one day, through the cosmic storm,
Your strength will shine, your heart transform.
