Stealing Moonlight

Out there walking in the sands together with only laughter on our breath, The night wind slowly caresses us, and erases the footprints that we left. That doesn’t matter as long as were together; we always made our own way, Yet I must admit to a crime you commit, didn’t you see the moon start to fade. It’s so surreal how you make my heart feel, every time we are out walking at night, I wonder if the moon saddens because every time this happens, your beauty is stealing moonlight. There’s not much you can do, its how your beauty shines through. You see the stars know they came from your eyes, The moon really doesn’t care it can see the love that we share. It can see all the happiness coming from the inside. Standing there watching the tide slowly roll in, the water gently gathers at our feet, Then in a moment of silence the brush of a kiss is stolen, as slowly our eyes again meet. Standing in our own pleasure without a care in the world, speaking our thoughts in perfect time, Your such a sight as your beauty continues stealing moonlight, to me there is no other perfect crime.
