Steady Thy Reign
Cinders are swept from the coldest of shoulders
Yet, tension still feeds from the lingering envy
Filter the sands of emotional toil
Exclaim with words when they're all you have
Introverted and meek, yet effectual through tongue
No wonder, it seems, that stimulates are scarce
To soothe the ache that rings, continuously, within
The fluids are fluent, thus, my language is heard
Shelter has never felt so warm
Welcome to all, who succumb to it's trenches
Shatter the silence, with an acoustic wave
Of roguish sport, to which eases the modest
Clouds will rain upon thee, in following days
Until the cycle repeats, to steady thy reign
