Stay with love

faith any, shaky are its roots
they but talk of forbidden fruits
let head and heart act hand in glove
beliefs are fickle, stay with love

end anger, envy, hate and lust
heed voice of conscience and paths just
hark the tidings of the peace dove
beliefs are fickle, stay with love

exit the web of dark desire
feel within heart, God’s sacred fire
drop ego, give it a last shove
beliefs are fickle, stay with love

we’re living light, our claim to fame
rekindled now, in life’s end game
God’s blessings pour in from above
beliefs are fickle, stay with love

On anger, we need to adopt a practice of mindful introspection. In moments of rage we are driven by savage animal instinct. Later we can reflect and correct. It may take a while. Choose to slow down thought flow. Ask, how would a Buddha, Jesus or any other ascended being have reacted. Look at the object of anger as your child, mother or father, as God Himself, testing you. Soften heart, gentle touch.

Beliefs fickle … we can believe or disbelieve anything we choose. Beliefs are thrust onto us since birth. This god, that god. Who has seen God? But we can. From eye of soul in heart, not physical eyes in head. As for love, God is agape love, a pure, eternal effervescence. Thoughts come and go, love is eternal.
