Stay Encouraged

Spend some time in a particular place
To, first, determine your very own fate,
As a specific condition or state,
Yearning to take control of your own space.
Evidence of courage will grace your face
Now and until whatever future date,
Creating a confidence that can bait
Others into trying to win their race.
Use all of your inner strength to endure,
Resisting any urges to give in,
Advancing towards your goal to ensure
Greatness, evident in your will to win.
Encouragement is powerful, when pure,
Drowning out the disappointments of men.

I enjoyed reading your wonderful poetry this morning Doc. Have never written a Sonnet maybe it is time to try. I will be back again soon to read more of your poetry. May the sun shine down on you and bring great joy to your life now and always. Love, Carol
