As light flees
Stay by my side
Comfort me

Stay by my side
When darkness comes
Help me to hide
When pound the drums

Stay by my side
As stars arise
Be for me ‘guide’
When despair cries

Stay by my side
Dry my tears on your sleeve
Stay by my side
And never leave
