Stay

STAY
by
JOHN M. ARRIBAS

Please stay don’t go away
I need you everyday
I need you in every way
Please stay, please stay
I pray for you to stay
I need to have my way
Please stay, please stay
What do I need to say
I’ll say it without delay
Your exit, my doomsday
I need some way, to allay
Lonely feelings, skies are now gray
I’m quietly whispering, one more day
But you’re not here you’ve gone away
My helplessness causes me to bray
My earthy pleading could not carry the day
