State of Flux

6/17/16

Typically either just
Or corrupt
The world in a state of flux

Don't be a punk
Or schmuck

Shouldn't strut
Like you are greater than King Tut

End the funk
Jump
Up
And out the rut
Until there is no slump

Must
Trust
My gut

Many a times had to put down the cup
Because i was really drunk

Had to watch my back always, and push my luck
Because you can never really stack enough

Took some puffs
Of potent stuff
And got a rush

When it was tough
Never stayed stuck
Or was one to bluff and front

The result wasn't always just
Causing a fuss
And others to feel disgust

From dawn to dusk
I remained in the cut
Very much
Out in the dust and brush

Was broke running amok
Couldn't even afford pizza hut
Nothing in the pockets but lint and fluff

Then made some bucks
And started saving for a truck

Close to the cusp
No thanks to the stunts
I kept pulling every month

Deposits of rust
Formed a layer like a crust

Mass amounts of junk
Piled up at the dump

Some foods growing with a husk
Certain animals with trunks
And tusks

Girl you plus
Me equals us
